EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

I bring over 25 years of consulting experience as a construction consultant. I have extensive experience with commercial and residential properties, small and large, related to construction cost estimating.  My experience includes: CAD drafting, independent / joint scope documents with representatives of the insured, desktop analysis of scope and estimates/invoices, as well as verification of code upgrades.  Currently, my duties include building repair/replacement estimates and the evaluation of fire, water and smoke damage to structure, as well as any form of natural disaster (wind, hail, tornado, hurricanes, etc.). This work typically includes site surveys, determination of scope, damage documentation, preparation of repair or replacement cost estimates, and drafting of moisture surveys and floor/roof layouts. I have obtained certifications as a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), with The American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE).  I am a Triple Master with the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), MWR (Master Water Restoration Technician) (WTR/CCT/RRT/AMRT/HST/ASD), MSR (Master Fire & Smoke Restorer (FSRT/UFT/OCT/CCT/HST)) and MTC (Master Textile Cleaner (CCT/UFT/OCT/RRT/CRT) as well as a Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST).  Additionally, I am a HAAG Certified Inspector for all types of Residential & Commercial Roofs (HCI-R/C) as well as Wind (HCI-W).  I am also licensed by IL, IN, IA, MI, MO, OH, TN & WI to enter active asbestos containments and / or known friable asbestos areas, as well as, opine to the means and methods that are being used to abate the materials.  In addition, I am also licensed by IL, IN, IA, MI and WI as an asbestos inspector, to perform inspections on buildings to identify and validate suspect materials which may contain asbestos.  Additionally, I am a Lead Risk Assessor with the State of IL, where I am able to not only test for lead based materials, I am also able to prepare protocols for renovation/ removal of the lead, when necessary.  Lastly, I hold my OSHA, 10 Hour Construction Program Card.

My experience includes preparing repair estimates for universities, municipalities, manufacturing facilities, food processing facilities, airports, government installations, nursing homes, large warehouses, office buildings, hotels, high rises, restaurants, multiple family dwellings, apartment and condominium complexes, racetracks, arenas, shopping centers (strip malls and large malls), ship yards, schools, institutions, banks,  registered historical buildings (commercial and residential), as well as numerous custom residential properties.
